TRIP TO ANTANANARIVO Flights: For your trip to Antananarivo, Madagascar the most popular airlines which can take you there include Ethiopian Airlines, Air France, Turkish Airlines, Emirates. As previously mentioned it is recommended for you to arrive either on July 14 or 15. The best time to get cheapest flights is now! Visa on Arrival: As a non-malagasy citizen, you can apply for a visa to enter Madagascar once you arrive at the airport in Antananarivo. It is not necessary to apply online before your trip. There are 2 ways to get there.

Flight

1st Option (flying) Antananarivo to Nosy Be, Nosy Be to Europe

Nosy Be is an international airport. There flights to and from Antananarivo with Madagascar Airlines which take about 1h 40min. However it is also possible to fly directly to Europe from Nosy Be with Ethiopian Airlines or Neos Air. Note you will need to check the airlines' websites if flights are available on your preferred travel date.

Rental Car

2nd Option (rental car) Antananarivo to Nosy Be

We will travel by rental car with our families to Nosy Be from Antananarivo. This trip will take up to 48 hours from Antananarivo to Nosy Be. We offer you the option of travelling with us on this road trip. While much longer than flying, this trip gives you the option to see different landscapes and regions between Antananarivo and Nosy Be which can only be seen on the ground. Inside Antananarivo : €60 per car (If we rent a van for 8 persons for example, we can share the cost) Inside Nosy Be : Airport pick-up : €30 (we can use the car with driver during the whole day) City tour : Around €60 / car without drivers Road trip from Antananarivo to Nosy Be : Around €60 / car (with drivers)
