Question

So...Corona Virus?

Answer

At this time we don't believe we will have to postpone the wedding do to the Corona Virus outbreak. We're planning on having a little more than 100 guests. Many will be traveling from different parts of the country and it is peak tourism season in Charleston so it definately is a concern and we hope everyone will be safe and take the precautions seriously. If you don't feel comfortable traveling or if flights were to be canceled please know that we fully understand and don't want any of our friends and family to take unnecessary risks on our account. We want this to be a joyous occasion and don't want to see anybody in the hospital because they're trying to celebrate with us. Obviously, if you're not feeling well yourself we encourage you to check with your doctor before joining us. We will let everyone know if there are any further updates or changes as soon as we're aware of them. Everyone stay safe and hopefully we'll see you soon.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Great question! We kindly request a response by Friday February 28th.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! If for some reason the website isn't letting you RSVP your kids let us know and we can adjust it appropriately.

Question

How warm/cold will it be?

Answer

The average high temperature in April is about 78 degrees, and the average low is around 52, but it's the weather, so who knows?

Question

Do I have to go to all the events?

Answer

No, we figured since so many people would be traveling they'd want to spend multiple days in town and tried to plan a number of events so people could have every chance to spend time with us, but feel free to explore the city on your own as well.

Question

Can I park at the venue?

Answer

No, but there is limited street parking, and a parking garage within a couple of blocks. Uber and Lyft are great options, especially if you plan to imbibe!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail/ cocktail casual: Cocktail dresses, sundresses, or dressy jumpsuits; jackets (or not) and slacks. The ceremony will be outdoors, so please check the weather and dress accordingly!

Question

Are you changing your names?

Answer

No.

Question

What's the best way to get around town?

Answer

The hotel is right across the Ashley River from downtown and runs a shuttle back and forth. The Uber and Lyft apps are generally the best way to get around town otherwise, but you can also flag down a Rickshaw for short trips or call one at 843-723-5685.
