From the very beginning, she has made me feel incredibly welcomed and loved—going so far as to thoughtfully coordinate with Steven to choose a beautiful sweater for me that first Christmas. CC has a warm spirit and a compassionate heart, qualities she exemplifies daily in her work caring for the tiniest patients in the Critical Intensive Care Unit. I look forward to creating many cherished memories together in the years ahead. As I join this family, I’m not only gaining a sister, but a true friend—and I can’t imagine standing at the altar without CC by my side as I marry her brother.

Nicole and I have been close friends since our freshman year of high school, where we first met playing soccer. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable, sharing countless unforgettable adventures and endless laughter. Some of our favorite memories include tubing down the river, dancing to Usher at the Today Show, cruising in our Mercury Cougars, and road-tripping to Telluride. Nicole has a truly kind heart and a joyful spirit that shines through in everything she does—especially in her role as a devoted second-grade teacher. I am incredibly grateful for her friendship and the bond we’ve shared over the years.

As a dedicated hospice nurse, she selflessly gives her time and talents to care for others, and it’s clear how fortunate her patients are to be in her care. I feel truly blessed by her friendship.
