In mid-July of this past year, I came across a profile on Catholic Match featuring a young man named Steven. He appeared to be a kind, southern gentleman from Alabama who had a strong love for his dog, Bentley, enjoyed playing pickleball, and spoke fondly of his close-knit family and cherished memories growing up on the lake. After viewing his profile, I decided to send him a "like" to express my interest, and soon after, Steven reached out to me. Our communication quickly developed, and within just a few days, Steven asked for my phone number, and we began a nightly routine of video chats. By early August, while on my annual trip to Glenwood Hot Springs, I confided in my sister, saying, "I think I'm going to marry him!"
