When do I have to RSVP by?

When and where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM at the Joslyn Art Museum. The Joslyn's address is 2200 Dodge St. Doors to the museum will open at 5:45 PM. Cocktail hour and the reception will follow immediately after at the museum - be sure to enjoy a walk through the art galleries during cocktail hour!

You're probably at Joslyn Castle! Make sure to go to 2200 Dodge St. From Joslyn Castle: Take Davenport st to 38th St. Turn right to get to Dodge street. Then head East - follow Dodge street all the way to N 24th St. Take a left at the lights, then take a right on James Fous Ave and you're at the Joslyn!

What attire should I wear?

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such dresses or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men.

Can I bring a date?

To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue’s capacity, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding festivities. You’ll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one, on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We have chosen to make our special day adults-only celebration to ensure all guests, especially parents, can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us for our big day! Your understanding means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Where can I park?

The Joslyn has a free parking lot attached to the museum. For a detailed map, go to joslyn.org/visit.

Can I take pictures / video during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony (no mobile phones or cameras) so please do not take photos during this time. We have an amazing professional photographer and videographer to capture these memories, which will be shared with you. Please feel free to take as many photos as you like before and after the ceremony.

Where can I submit my meal preferences?

Answer

We are having a buffet dinner - no need to submit any meal preferences. If you have any dietary restrictions, please submit through your RSVP or contact Megan or Robert directly.

Can I take my shoes off?

Answer

The Joslyn requires all guests keep their shoes on for the entire night - bring your dancing shoes if you know you'll need them!
