There are many options for this route, many are direct. If you choose this option, we recommend renting a car or taking the train from the airport to Castiglioncello (Rosignano Marittimo). A drive to Castiglioncello is about 3 hours, a normal train ride is about 3-4 hours with a few train changes.

On average they are about 3 to 4 hours to travel from the Rome airport (FCO) to Castiglioncello (the town train station) due to a stop or two.

Once arrived in Florence, we recommend renting a car or taking the train to Castiglioncello (Rosignano Marittimo).
