FAQs

The Wedding Website of Hunter Monica Luna and Nathan Drake Hedberg
Parking & Getting to the Venue You’ll park at the Vista Civic Center, shown as the red square on the map. Please avoid the neighboring lots—cars parked there may be towed. From the Civic Center, just follow the red arrow across the street to reach the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe. It’s a super short and easy walk! Once you’re there, feel free to wander and enjoy the beautiful Adobe grounds before and after the ceremony.
Question

When should I submit my RSVP?

Answer

Kindly submit your RSVP by April 1, or as early as possible! This will allow us to finalize arrangements and ensure all details are thoughtfully prepared for our celebration.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Chic silhouettes, bold hues, and movement for the dance floor; think semi-formal with a generous romantic twist. Dress in looks that celebrate the season — flowing fabrics and details that feel effortless. Picture jewel tones, lace, silk, or florals. For the men attending, we suggest a suit or dress shirt with a tie. No jeans or sneakers please. ***Note: The walkways and grass areas at the site are very uneven. We highly recommend flats or low wedges/mules for the ladies. The site is not stiletto/peg heel friendly.

Question

Is the wedding and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe.

Question

Since the venue is a historical site, is there anything special we should be aware of?

Answer

We hope our guests will enjoy the aesthetics of the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe as much as we do. Here are two major conditions of our rental: No glass of any kind outside of what we have provided and has been contractually negotiated with the City & no hard/outside alcohol of any kind. There are no exceptions.

Question

Are pictures allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. Meaning, once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want our guests to be completely present with us!

Question

Can we bring kids?

Answer

While we would love to invite all of our family and friends’ children, for a variety of reasons our guest list has been limited to adults with the exception of a few nieces and nephews. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you on our special day!

Question

What should I do if I cannot attend?

Answer

One of two things. If you are RSVP'ing 'no', you'll be missed! If you already RSVP'd 'yes' but need to update your response to 'no'- please call or text Hunter, Nathan, or either of their parents so we can plan accordingly.
