General Hotel Information

We have arranged Room Blocks at the Westin and Delta hotels for our wedding weekend. Both hotels are approximately 10 miles from the DFW airport or 10-15 minute drive. They can easily be accessed by Uber or if you prefer, a rental car. Both properties are under the Marriott banner and were built in the last 5 years. Our wedding venue, The Bowden, is also about a 15 drive from either of the hotels. NOTE – The wedding weekend of October 9-12 is also the same weekend as the Red River Showdown which is the big rivalry football game between Texas and Oklahoma. While the game and festivities are in Dallas, some of the hotels listed below have indicated that as Dallas hotels fill up, many will look to stay in Southlake given its proximity to DFW airport and nice amenities away from the crowds. Take advantage of the room block rates before they expire in mid-September, or you may have to pay the prevailing rate which will be higher.

We don't have a room block at this hotel, but it's very close to DFW airport and about 30 minutes to the wedding venue.

The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has the most flights and is the closest airport, within 10 miles of all the listed hotels. The major US carriers (American, Delta, United, Alaska, Frontier, Spirit, Jet Blue) plus international airlines fly into DFW from around the world.

Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) is another option for those of you flying Southwest Airlines, Alaska Air or Delta. It is a little further away, approximately 25 miles from the listed hotels.
