Justin proposed in front of the courthouse on the charming holiday ice rink that appears each Christmas—just five minutes from where I grew up. I spent many teenage years shopping and making memories here with friends and family. We hope you’ll enjoy exploring the fun stores and restaurants this outdoor shopping area has to offer—it’s a place full of joy, history, and now, a very special moment in our love story.
Historic Downtown Grapevine
The Historic Main Street District in Grapevine is full of charm and character, featuring winery tasting rooms, unique shops, local art galleries, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, and more—all within a walkable, preserved historic area. Just a few blocks away is where I graduated from Faith Christian High School, making this area especially meaningful to me and my family. We hope you’ll take time to explore this special place that holds so many cherished memories.
Fort Worth Stockyards
Part of our family heritage includes a legacy of cattle ranching. To honor this rich history, we invite you to experience the Fort Worth Herd—the world's only, legendary, twice-daily cattle drive featuring majestic Texas Longhorns. Happening at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the Fort Worth Stockyards, this one-of-a-kind event is a living tribute to the cowboy spirit and a proud symbol of the American West.
Fort Worth Cultural District
The Fort Worth Cultural District is a hidden gem, home to some of the most renowned museums in the country—all within a walkable area. Our family favorites include the Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. If you’re looking to enjoy the outdoors, don’t miss the nearby Fort Worth Botanic Garden or the nationally ranked Fort Worth Zoo—voted #1 in the country! It’s the perfect place to spend a day soaking in beauty, nature, and a little bit of Texas charm.
Dallas Arts District
Just a short drive away, the Dallas Arts District is a cultural treasure filled with inspiring spaces to explore. From the Dallas Museum of Art’s vast collection spanning ancient to contemporary works, to the peaceful gardens of the Nasher Sculpture Center and the diverse beauty of the Crow Collection of Asian Art, there’s something for every art lover to enjoy. One of my personal favorites is the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, located nearby in Victory Park. This award-winning museum features 11 incredible exhibit halls where you can come face-to-face with prehistoric creatures, explore the wonders of space, experience dazzling gems, wild weather, sports science, robotics, and so much more. It’s an unforgettable adventure for guests of all ages!
