There's a beautiful paved rec path around Lake Dillon and Summit County that's great for a leisurely bike cruise. It's a great way to get outside and see a lot of the area we live. Rent an e-bike and enjoy all the awesome views. We recommend starting in Frisco and either riding to Breckenridge, Dillon, or the top of Vail Pass. There are several great breweries in the area to take a pit-stop including Broken Compass, Highside Brewing, Outer Range, Ein Prosit, Angry James, and more.
One of the most bang-for-your-buck hikes in Summit County. Expect a decent amount of elevation gain and loss, ending at a scenic alpine lake before descending back to your car.
Great golf course in Keystone offering a challenging layout and scenic mountain views. This course is "Mountain Golf" with large elevation changes and tricky shots.
More laid back vibes, but a fun Pete Dye designed course with a newly designed back nine featuring the highest tee box in North America. No driving range, but a cage to warm up. This is a tight course and can be challenging if you don't keep your ball in play.
Downhill bike park for full suspension mountain bikes. This is where Rob and Sarah ride most! Recommended for folks that ride a bike VERY comfortably. Keystone Sports at the base of the gondola offers bike, helmet, and pad rentals.
This is a really fun very casual hike in Breckenridge. Isak Heartstone is a 'troll' that is sculpted and hiding in the woods near town. A short fun hike. We generally do it as part of a longer walk or go out for drinks on Main Street Breck afterwards.
Stroll Main Street Breck and check out tons of cute shops, get coffee at Clint's, get ice cream at Higgle's, grab a beer at the Gold Pan, and take a free spin on the BreckConnect Gondola if you feel so inclined.
The Frisco Marina is the spot to go if you want to get out and paddle on the lake. There are lots of small islands and coves nearby to explore. We recommend on doing this in the morning and checking the forecast.
The Marina Park and Dillon Amphitheater are great places to hang out in the Summer with great views of the surrounding mountains, lake and potentially some great tunes. Check the Dillon Amp's calendar.
Go rafting, get splashed, it's super fun.
Colorado Adventure Guides offers guided hikes, bikes, and other fun outdoor activities around Summit County.
Cool local brewery in Keystone.
Great brewery in Frisco. Very hazy IPAs and a few good lagers on tap. Voted best apres bar in the country.
Local microbrewery in Breckenridge. Excellent beers. Try the ginger pale ale.
We had a really fun date night here. You paint pre-made ceramics and they will bake them for you. Great for an artsy night. They serve beer and wine and are next door to some great restaurants in Breck.
An authentic Colorado mine tour. Very cool.
Try a guided half-day on the river and get cool fish pics for your online dating profile.
