Yes, and it's free! The parking garage is located to the immediate north of the Grand Event Center. You can enter by way of Baldwin Dr.
There is a parking lot directly behind the church and adjoined school with 30 spots. There is also an additional parking lot owned by the church off of S 3rd St and E Sycamore St with an additional 20 spots. German Village does allow for street parking on most streets, but keep in mind the brick roads can be a little bumpy and narrow at times.
Our marriage ceremony will follow the framework and traditions of the Catholic mass. It should last between 50-70 minutes. We understand that many of our friends and family are not religious and/or Catholic. That's okay! We invite you to attend regardless, if you wish. In our experience, our priest, Fr. Vince, is engaging and relatable and blends the tenets of Catholicism with the everyday experience better than most. All are welcome in our parish (yes, really!), but we do ask that you demonstrate the appropriate reverence in a place of worship as we partake in a holy sacrament of our faith tradition.
While we'd love to see all friends and family in attendance, we encourage you to partake in our special day however you choose.
We do have a registry available through Zola (under the "Registry" tab of our website) that allows our guests to choose from a wide array of gifts and money funds. Give whatever you feel most comfortable with. At the end of the day, we care most about having you present to celebrate with us!
We have already had some guests ask us about the registry and realize the set-up may be a bit unfamiliar to some. If you are in need of assistance or have specific questions about purchasing items, please refer to the Zola help pages and/or support team. We will have an open bar with premium beer, wine, and liquor selections and ask that our guests do not bring any outside alcohol.
While we would love to meet everyone's friends, significant others, etc., please understand that we also have a guest limit for our big day. As such, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones for everyone.
Although we are happy that many of our guests will want to help us capture our special day, we do have a paid photographer and a handful of designated individuals that will be documenting the evening's activities. As such, we encourage our guests to be present and have fun with us as we share our love with everyone!
Please know that our reception space and adjoining hotel (Marriott) do not allow pets. However, if you are coming from out of town and wish to bring your furry companion along, the Hyatt Place hotel nearby does accept pets. You will not be able to utilize the guest rate at this hotel, however.
