Water Taxi from Portland Docks to TEIA (wedding venue)
June 8, 2024 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Address: 72 Commercial St, Portland, ME 04101 Please arrive to board the Kennedy (Fogg's Water Taxi) starting at 3:15 PM. The Kennedy will leave Portland between 3:30 - 3:45 PM to arrive at TEIA by 4 PM (ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM). Departure from TEIA back to Portland will be at 10:45 PM (dancing ends at 10:30 PM). The water taxi will pick you up right at the TEIA docks where you were dropped off. IMPT NOTE - If you miss this water taxi, you will have to: 1. Secure your own water taxi to Peaks ($$$) 2. Take the Casco Bay Ferry (3:15 PM ferry). If you miss the 3:15, the next ferry is at 4:30, and you would miss the ceremony. Please be on time!!! If you want to leave the party early, the bus on the island can take you to the Casco Bay 9:45PM ferry.

Bus for Island Guests (Custom Coach)

We have a ~44 person bus on the island to take guests to the wedding ceremony & reception. There will be 2 main pick up spots: 1. The Inn on Peaks Island (central location to most) - Bus to leave at 3:40PM (bus will be there starting at 3:15PM to get a seat). 2. Top of Luther Street - Bus to leave ~3:50PM. Please be ready at the top of Luther St. around 3:40PM. REED AVE UPDATE - We are unable to pickup folks at Reed Ave. due to venue policy changes. If you are staying on Reed, please carpool or WALK! It's only about a 10 minute walk (bring alternate shoes ladies). Everyone will be dropped at the ceremony / reception location at TEIA around 4PM. Ceremony to start promptly at 4:30PM. Note - If your house is walking distance to TEIA, and it's a nice day out, we highly suggest this! Another Note - There is some parking at TEIA, so if you have a car / golf cart on the island and would prefer to drive, that is an option. Please carpool as spots are limited. Lastly, if you can't make it to a pickup spot, and don't have a car, please let us know and we will help out!

How am I getting home?

Staying in Portland? 1. Fogg's Water Taxi will be at the TEIA docks to take you back. Prompt departure at 10:45PM (dancing ends at 10:30PM). 2. If you would like to go home earlier, we will have the bus on the island available to take to Casco Bay Ferry Lines starting at 9:30PM. No ticket is required - just hop right on. Staying on the island? 1. We will have the ~44 person charter bus start taking people home around 9:30PM. There will be a few trips and destinations: Drop-off locations: 1. Top of Luther Street 2. The Inn on Peaks Island 3. Elizabeth's Airbnb - 2 Oak Ave. (where the after party is for anyone that wants to keep partying)!!!! If you are staying in Portland, the last ferry leaves at 11:55PM. You will have to get on that ferry OR get your own water taxi if staying later ($$$). Please plan accordingly. If you plan to come to the after party, we ask that you designate a driver home to your airbnb or walk/bike. Safety first, people!
