All wedding day events are scheduled to be outdoors (weather permitting). The ceremony garden and cocktail hour patio are plainly outside, while the reception space (Sweetgrass Pavilion) is open-air but fully covered.
Wedding: Cocktail attire Wedding party colors vary, but no faux pas here - wear whatever colors make you feel good! Weather permitting, we will be on the lawn during the ceremony and cocktail hour We will be outdoors through the end of the reception, so dress with Fall temperatures in mind After-party: Swimsuits, of course! It will be warm and humid in the pool area so, while you are welcome to join in your wedding attire, we recommend changing into lighter casual attire even if you do not plan to jump in with us.
Hotel guest parking: Minerals Hotel has a large lot (free self-parking) across from the main entrance. Grand Cascades Lodge has a lot (free self-parking), garage (free self-parking with hotel guest keycard) and option for valet ($25 per stay, unlimited use). Their driveway has a roundabout, where you will take the first exit and a quick left to pull up to the main hotel entrance (pick-up/drop-off, valet), or the second exit to access the parking lot. Wedding day parking: If driving to Minerals for our wedding day only (not staying over), you may park in the main lot (see above) and walk through the hotel to the wedding locations. Or, you may prefer to enter Minerals Golf Club as the destination in your GPS, which will take you directly to the lot at our reception space. After passing the hotel's main entrance, you will pull up to the Great Gorge community gatehouse and tell the attendant you are going to the Sweetgrass Pavilion. Once parked, you will walk across the lawn to the wedding garden where the festivities will begin. (See "Things To Do" for property map.)
If headed to Minerals Hotel, be sure to check that the address in your GPS is on Chamonix Drive to avoid any confusion with the main property at Crystal Springs Resort, which is 10 minutes away.
