Massanutten Resort is approximately 30 minutes from Harrisonburg. It is a four seasons resort that has golfing, a waterpark and more!

The Shenandoah National Park is approximately 30 minutes from Harrisonburg. The park has hiking trails and other beautiful outdoor spaces. If hiking is not for you, take a drive down Skyline Drive that goes through the park and offers beautiful views of the mountains. Take 33 East from Harrisonburg directly to the park entrance. Entrance fees are $30 per car and pay for 7 days of access to the park.
Staunton is approximately 30 minutes south of Harrisonburg. Staunton's downtown is filled with shops, restaurants, and other unique finds. It is also home to Woodrow Wilson's Presidential Library and the Frontier Culture Museum.
Luray Caverns in approximately 40 minutes from Harrisonburg. The caverns are the largest in the eastern United States and is home to the Great Stalacpipe Organ.
