The Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is the larger airport and is a one hour and 15 minute drive to Captiva Island. The Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) is where Allegiant Airlines flies to/from. This airport is very small and 1.5 hour drive to Captiva Island.

South Seas ResortSouth Seas Resort

South Seas is iconic on Captiva but they suffered a tremendous amount of damage from Hurricane Milton. It is still very beautiful and they are rebuilding quickly but they no longer have a traditional hotel. Condos and homes are available to rent.

Uber is available but not as reliable on the islands. We encourage you to schedule your Ubers ahead of time and allow extra time (around 20 minutes of waiting) if you choose this route.
