Tuesdays from 9am to 1pm. This is right outside of South Seas Resort. It has a lot of the same vendors as the Sanibel Farmer's Market but smaller.
This is probably the best coffee spot around. They also have pastries, breakfast sandwiches, shakes and the iconic Bubble Room cakes.
A Captiva staple! The Bubble Room is scheduled to open Spring 2025. Big portions, the BEST desserts, colorful and kitschy restaurant. Expect long waits.
The Mucky Duck is another staple on Captiva! It's currently closed due to Hurricane Helene and Milton but they plan to rebuild.
Delicious restaurant that overlooks the bay. Lori Robbins (Holly's mom) favorite! Highly recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp and dirty martinis.
You can bike all around Ding Darling, fish or drive through the park. Small fee. Best time of day is high/low tides. Keep your eye out for alligators, roseate spoonbills, white pelicans and more!
Best Mexican food on the island (although it's no Chuy's!)
Tasty breakfast spot.
There aren't a lot of coffee options on the islands but this is one of them!
Sundays from 9am to 1pm. We love quiche and pastries at the French food truck! There's also a stand that makes the best Guacamole.
Outdoor shopping mall, all local stores as Sanibel and Captiva don't have chains! Great spot to get some souvenirs.
Sanibel and Captiva are known for finding amazing seashells on the beach. Stop in this store to see some other amazing shells or pick up a souvenir!
The best ice cream and concrete concoctions.
Tasty cajun food and live music! Holly loves it here.
The best coconut shrimp. This is a Robbins favorite and on a marina. Watch for dolphins!
Public Parking/Beach area (gets crowded at peak times). The lighthouse is iconic and has survived all of the hurricanes. We like to rent bikes on Sanibel and make a day of it!
