Staybridge Suites Des Moines Downtown, an IHG Hotel

We have 30 rooms blocked at Staybridge Suites for 08/08/25 (Friday) and 08/09/25 (Saturday) at a rate of $199 per night. These rooms must be reserved by 07/08/25 or no longer available. This hotel is only a block away from the venue where we will have our ceremony and reception. If you plan on staying 08/10/25 (Sunday) because of flights or want to attend the fair, book a room ASAP as I do not have any blocked for that night and they can fill up fast with the fair in town. Please note the link does not work in the IHG App. When you click on the link, it will take you to the hotel page, change the check in date to either 8/8 or 8/9 and the check out date to 8/10. Embassy Suites by Hilton Des Moines Downtown

Embassy Suites is right next to Staybridge Suites and also only a block from the venue. We did not block any rooms here but if you'd rather stay here (they have a great breakfast and free cocktail hour!) it's another great choice! If wanting to stay here, again book ASAP (as you can always cancel) due to the fair being in town this could book up quickly.

Rental Car

Turo

Turo is the Airbnb of car rentals, where you rent someone's personal car. Carlos and I have used this numerous times and have always had good experiences, highly recommend for a rental car if you want one!

Flight

Allegiant Airlines

Allegiant air has a lot of affordable flights that don't always show up on expedia or google flights. Check the website directly. You'll have to add $19 each way ($38 total) to select your seat (if you don't want a middle seat), then $22 each way ($44 total) for a carry-on (yes they charge for carry on), or $39 each way ($78 total) for a checked bag.
