Maid of Honor
Rachel is Julie's oldest friend and favorite sister. Julie was so jealous when Lori & Roger brought Rachel home from the hospital that she chewed on electric cords. Thankfully, Julie got over herself and learned to love Rachel for the kind, spunky, and strong woman she is. She hasn't yet learned to stop eating electric cords, though.
Best Woman
Holden and Becky met Orientation Week of college, but he was intimidated by what he thought was her smarts but was actually her social awkwardness, and she was intimated by what she thought was his love of sports but was actually his limited wardrobe options. Luckily, months later they would bond over the difficulty of Spanish conjugations and become close friends. The dream team, many scholars consider Becky and Holden to be twins separated at birth.
Matron of Honor
Julie met Anna in 5th grade when they led their Battle of the Books team to state-wide victory. They've been best friends ever since. Julie once got Anna to agree to make a PowerPoint presentation about the Declaration of Independence using only facts learned from the hit movie, National Treasure (starring Nicolas Cage). Anna, on the other hand, taught Julie how to clean her room, keep her life organized, and maintain healthy habits.
Groomsfolk
Katie and Holden met in college through Becky, Katie's roommate, and quickly became friends. They soon learned that while they share much in common - a love of cats, an aversion to physical activity, an enjoyment of theatre - when paired together they somehow proceed to make the worst possible decisions. They have since been banned from taking any initiative as a unit without first seeking outside counsel.
Bridesmaid
Julie and Erin met in 7th grade algebra class. They learned no algebra that year because they spent the entire class giggling and becoming fast friends. Even though Julie has never succeeded in getting Erin to love musicals, and Erin has never succeeded in getting Julie to love her weird Indie music, the two have spent many nights watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and eating more sugar than should be humanly possible.
Groomsfolk
Emma and Holden met in college while working on a very weird play about turkeys and the Vietnam War, and now they rarely hang out without something involving theatre occurring. They are frequent NYC travel buddies, and have spent more time in Manhattan together than Holden and Julie have! Emma is world-renowned for her excellent hugs, which sometimes injure passers-by.
Bridesmaid
Julie and Michelle met during their first week at Knox College, when they got lost trying to get their bikes registered at the Campus Safety office. They later made a friendship pact to always eat lunch together and to hug more. Julie and Michelle have traveled the world together, eating food and trying not to die in Israel, Denmark, and Italy.
Groomsfolk
Avery and Holden met when Holden made an excellent pun* and Avery was the only person in a very crowded, quiet room who laughed. Holden shouted across the room: "You! I like you!" Since then it's been all puns, Something Rotten singalongs, and trading pictures of their cats. One time they even went to Prom together and took some excellent pictures that they will show you if you ask nicely. *How did Harry Potter get down the hill? Walking. JK, rolling.
Flower Girl
Anna's daughter Rosie is 2 1/2 years old! She loves Minnie Mouse, princess songs, and her brother Marty.
Ring Bearer
Anna's son (and Julie's godson!) Marty is 7 months old. He loves smiling, snuggling with his mom, and looking at stuffed animals. Holden is very worried he's going to eat the rings - stay tuned.
