Question

What are the current updates in Deschutes County and in Oregon?

Answer

Please see the links below! https://www.deschutes.org/health/page/covid-19-novel-coronavirus https://govstatus.egov.com/OR-OHA-COVID-19

Question

Can I fly into Portland airport?

Answer

Yes! There are two passes through the Cascade mountain range to get to Bend from PDX. We prefer the northern pass since you get picturesque scenery of Mt. Hood. It will take about 3 hours to get to Bend but is well worth it! Check out the travel tab to help you out!

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

There are rental car companies at the Redmond Airport (about 25 min north of Bend). There is also Uber and Lyft services available at the airport. It will cost around about $40 to get from the airport to Bend.

Question

Is everyone invited to the rehearsal (welcome) dinner?

Answer

Yes! We are making our ENTIRE wedding celebration all-inclusive. So PLEASE come have drinks and food with us before our special day and stop by our rooms while we are getting ready. We do ask that everyone not come to the actual rehearsal since we want a little element of surprise!

Question

What type of weather should I plan for?

Answer

Bend is considered 'high desert', so it will be hot and sunny during the day but cooler at night in August. Shorts will be fine during the day but you may want to pack some pants for evenings. Additionally, we recommend always bringing a light layer if you go out at night. Plan for low-80s during the day (it's a dry heat) and low-50s at night. It is rare to rain in the summer and any rain usually only last a few minutes before it passes.

Question

Can I bring a date or my children?

Answer

If your invitation states "guest" or is addressed to the family, then yes. If it is only addressed to you, we would prefer it was just you.
