10:00 am
A 3-mile loop that is mellow and beautiful. The hike is mostly flat and follows a beautiful stretch of the Deschutes river near Riverbend Park. No hiking boots needed but your shoes will likely get pretty dusty so plan accordingly.
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Come rent a tube for $16 or bring one and float the river. We will start at Riverbend Park and meander our way down to Mirror Pond Park near downtown Bend. We may encounter some "rapids" along the way but a bypass is available for those not feeling as adventurous. You can purchase a wristband for a couple of bucks to bring you and your tube back to your car after the float. The float takes about one hour. See: http://cascadeseasttransit.com/ride/ride-the-river/ Bringing beers or other drinks are highly encouraged. Come relax and float the river!
5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
We will be staying at LOGE and would love for you to come by and say hello before the big day. The hotel has multiple outdoor spaces to hangout as well as beer and wine available in the lobby. Feel free to come by, grab some small bites, and have some drinks with us!
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This is a great place to walk around and get breakfast! Discover a bounty of handmade items and so much more. Get your groove on to an eclectic mix of live music as well! We will be getting ready for our big day so we will not be able to attend.
1:00 pm
A party bus will be leaving from LOGE and you should probably be on it. If not staying at LOGE, please plan to meet at the hotel at 1:00 pm to catch transportation to the ceremony and then the reception. The ceremony will be held in the Cascade mountain range, about 30 minutes up the road from LOGE. We highly encourage all guests take the bus as parking is limited and passes are required. The bus will stop back at LOGE on the way to the reception if anyone wants to travel to the reception separately but will then continue on to Worthy Brewing for the reception! The bus will be leaving LOGE at 1:15 pm sharp! Responsible drinking is allowed and a bathroom is provided on the bus.
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Mountain Casual Attire ("the Bendite"): an outdoorsy version of business casual. Men: khakis, jeans, or cords paired with button-down/collared shirt. Women: Boho-chic, sundresses, fun hats. Comfortable shoes for all.
The ceremony will be outside overlooking Sparks Lake and the Cascade mountain range. Plan on it being warm and sunny but we recommend bringing a light layer in case of a breeze. The bus will be leaving Sparks Lake at 3:00pm sharp and it is about a 45 minute ride to the reception.
4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
4:00 - 5:30pm: We will begin the reception with cocktails, craft beer, wine and appetizers in the Star Bar, an outdoor bar with views of the mountains. 5:30 - 6:30pm: Dinner will be served in the Hops Mahal, a cozy space downstairs from the Star Bar with a small outdoor patio. 6:30 - 7:00pm: Dessert, speeches and more drinks back up in the Star Bar. 7:00 - 9:00pm: Dancing (and more drinks) back down in the Hops Mahal! 8:00pm - 9:00pm: Available to our guests is the Hopservatory, a 50-foot tower with a 16-inch RCOS-based Ritchey-Chrétien telescope (aka super legit telescope). Take a break from dancing to stargaze and look into the great beyond!
8:00 pm
The bus will be available for rides back to LOGE hotel and will make two trips to accommodate all schedules. The late shuttle will do a stop downtown for anyone looking to extend the party, but please plan travel back to your hotel accordingly and use Uber or Lyft if you choose to stay out. Early shuttle leaves Worthy Brewing at 8:00pm Late shuttle leaves Worthy Brewing at 9:00pm
