How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We will be providing transportation to the venue from downtown Roanoke (see below), but you may drive if you like. The drive from downtown is roughly 30 minutes. There is enough parking at the venue to accommodate our guests, and parking is free!

How far is the airport?

Answer

The Roanoke airport is a 10-minute drive to The Hotel Roanoke, and a 30-minute drive to Sundara.

From Hotel Roanoke To Sundara Departures: 3:15pm, 3:45pm Approximately 30 minute travel time From Sundara To Hotel Roanoke Departures: 9:15pm, 10:15pm Approximately 30 minute travel time

What should I wear?

Answer

For the ceremony, wear semi-formal or formal attire. For men, this means a suit and tie, or a tuxedo. For women, a cocktail dress, a dressy skirt and top, or a more formal dress are all appropriate. Most importantly, wear something comfortable (and avoid heels)! For all other events, wear casual attire.

I've never been to a Jewish wedding before. What should I expect?

Answer

A fairly short ceremony underneath a chuppah, followed by stomping of a glass. And be prepared for the Hora during the reception!

Will last names be changing after the wedding?

Nope! Trying to hyphenate our last names would be a nightmare, and we both would like to keep our last names for professional reasons.
