Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We'll be trying to hang out with folks all day Saturday in Portland, so don't be afraid to text us and ask us where we are! If you are interested in joining us for some Topgolf and brunch on Sunday morning, we're happy to make reservations for a bigger group. It's located in Hillsboro, about an hour southwest of the airport. We'll be hitting that on our way home to Springfield. If you're still around Sunday evening, we'd love to host you for pizza and beer at our home. It's about 2 hours south of the airport. Alternatively, if you would like to visit us at our home, you can also fly into Eugene, rent a car, and drive up to the wedding, and then come back Sunday and spend time with us before flying back out (this is also a good plan if you're spending the rest of the weekend at the coast or in Bend).

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking for RSVPs by Friday, July 1.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Sorry (or you're welcome, depending on your view point!), due to the nature of the venue and wedding theme, this will be an adults only event.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only those included on the invitation are invited. However, if we have overlooked a significant other in our whirlwind of planning, please reach out to us ASAP, as we did intend to invite all of those.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! But it's kind of everywhere. There are several surface parking lots within two or three blocks of the venue, and paid street parking is plentiful as well. We recommend staying at a hotel near the venue and walking though, especially if you plan on drinking.

Is the couple registered anywhere?

Answer

We are so happy and honored that you are choosing to spend your valuable time and money to come celebrate with us- we truly mean that your presence is our present. However, we also acknowledge that some folks want to honor us with a material gift regardless, so we have created small registries at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target. :)

What should I wear?

Answer

We don't have an official dress code, so where what you like to dance in! I suspect most folks will be dressy-casual. Semi-formal is fine, but formal is probably a bit extra for this event. :) We do respectfully ask that you do not wear bright or neon yellow, out of respect for a sensitivity in our crowd. The venue does have AC, but it's an old building with large windows, so it might be warm!
