It all started with a swipe on Bumble, followed by a "How you doin?" meme from Erica which had Chase smirking from the get-go. Their first date at Outback was a masterclass in laughter as they swapped outrageous family stories—seriously, who knew families could be this entertaining? Between the good food and wild tales, they realized they were a perfect match for each other ... And just like that, the rest was history—swipe right for love, and maybe a little bit of craziness!
It was a perfect Halloween night—spooky decorations, a roaring bon fire, Jello shots flowing, and Erica terrifying everyone as Pennywise while Chase played the hapless Georgie carrying around his red ballon. They’d planned a spooky movie on the lawn, but of course, Chase “couldn’t” get the speakers to connect to the projector. “Erica, can you help? It’s not working,” he called out, waving her over in mock frustration. Erica shuffled over in full clown mode to fix the “technical problem" which is not rare for Chase to have. As she fiddled with the Bluetooth trying to get it to work, Chase suddenly pulled out a ring box and got down on one knee. Erica was to focus on trying to fix the problem to notice. After quite a few "PSTS" at taps from Chase, Erica finally turned around. Her being so night blind it took her a moment to realized what was going on as her eyes struggled to focus in the dark. "Will you Marry Me" Chase asked. Followed by a long hug and an of course a "Yes!" from Erica. As she laughed realizing she was literally dressed like clown! Best Halloween Ever!
