The Wedding Website of Sarah Hjelsand and Ryan Marlega

Here is a general timeline of our itinerary for the week before the wedding. The shuttle will be leaving from Florence (closest large city to the venue), so as people trickle in over the weekend we can hopefully meet up there! We are heading to Naples afterwards via train (with a stop in Rome to send off anyone leaving on the 17th-18th) if anyone would like to tour Vesuvius/Pompeii or drink Limoncello with us as newlyweds. All are welcome :-)

Rehearsal Dinner

This event is optional formal, comfort in the Italian summer is most important to us.

We will provide pizza and wine, but the on site restaurant will be open to guests.

Wedding

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

We would love to see you in your best formal outfits, but as always, comfort in the hot weather is most important to us. (It was 92 degrees on 06/16/25 in Siena for reference)

Casale San Galgano

The menu will be chosen by the bride and groom and prepared by the on site chef. It will consist of 3 courses with two options for each course. There will also be snacks and gelato later! You will definitely not go hungry :-)
