Rent bikes or a golf cart to get to the beautiful, remote beach at Punta Coco. It's a perfect place to watch the sunset.
The famous Holbox hammocks are a must. You can stop here, have a drink and enjoy your time lying in the hammocks.
You have to try the lobster pizza in Holbox. Apparently, Roots serves it best but many places serve it.
Restaurant Viva Zapata Grill is a Holbox staple. Run and owned by a local Holboxeño, Chef Rosendo Ávila aims to please the most demanding palate, taking care to attend to every detail without losing the authentic Mexican touch. You can enjoy fresh seafood here, as well as surf and turf!
One of the best restaurants on the island. The chef curates his own menu daily based on the fresh fish and meat he finds that day. There is no menu, but each night you are able to choose from 3-4 different meal options, as well as 2 cocktail options (plus the usual wine and beer). This restaurant is a must-try when you are visiting Holbox!
Located conveniently in the town square, Pura Vida offers a rotating menu of craft beers. They also make a mean margarita, and even offer sushi on their menu! This is a great place to have an evening cocktail or beer, and people watch, before heading out for the rest of your evening.
THE lunch spot if you want big portions of ceviche, tacos, and any type of grilled fish. They also make their own horchata, which is delicous, and goes perfectly with some added rum ;)
A corner store where you can grab beer, hard liquor, water, ice, snacks, and everything in between. There are tons of corner stores on the island, but we found this spot always had a great selection!
Every night the town square comes alive with food carts, live music and performances. Head to the band shell in the town square, and you will find tons of food options; including tactos, tortas, sopes, soups, and even fresh crepas or marquesitas to cap your evening off with a little something sweet.
