After a 3-day blizzard, it was Patrick's first day of his new job in Washington, DC. On a whim, he decided to go to a Camp Kesem Alumni happy hour downtown. When he went to sign-in at the event, the cute girl with the clipboard — little did he know — would be his future wife. As he signed in, he struck up a conversation and these two haven't stopped singing camp songs and talking since.

Before sunrise, Patrick woke Alexandra up and took her onto the beach at the Outer Banks (providing coffee, of course). They walked along the beach to the wild horse preserve and Patrick asked her to spend the rest of her life with him as the tide brushed their toes. As it always is, it was a long-winded conversation that had no end and no beginning; steady like a sea breeze. We cannot wait to celebrate with you in the Outer Banks!
