The resort boasts a popular, Audubon-rated 18-hole championship golf course that is less than a 10 minute drive from the hotel. If you don't feel like hauling your clubs, you can rent them!

Fort Worden Historical State Park

200 Battery Way East, Port Townsend, WA 98368

Spending time at Fort Worden was a regular activity for the Jacobs family back in the day. There is plenty to explore at the park including old WWII bunkers (bring a flashlight!), beach-combing, and if you're a movie buff or Richard Gere fan, you may recognize some of the surroundings because the movie ‘An Officer and a Gentleman’ was filmed here!

Stop by the quaint seaside town with a Victorian flair where Hilary and her brothers grew up! Port Townsend is steeped in arts and culture, fascinating history, and seaside adventure. A historic seaport with an artistic soul! Walk around historic downtown or take a drive - Port Townsend is a small town known for having more than 300 Victorian homes. Hilary actually grew up in one (the ‘Colonol Landes House,’ 1034 Franklin St) built in 1871. Check out the link for ideas on fun ways to spend a few hours or even a whole day in PT!

Elevated Ice Cream Co

The Jacobs family favorite ice cream spot! Fun fact: Hilary’s dad’s first family practice in the late 70s was right next door, and the ice cream parlor eventually expanded into his former office space! Stop by for some delicious handmade ice cream, Italian ice, or chocolates!

Chetzemoka Park

1000 Jackson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368

Chetzemoka Park in Port Townsend, Washington has views of the Cascade Mountains, Puget Sound waterways, and the Salish Sea. The 6.4 acre park sits on a hillside overlooking Admiralty Inlet and has access to the beach. It's a great spot to stretch your legs and take in some views!

Ludlow Falls Interpretive Trail

Take a hike! This is a nice, short (< 1 mile) trail that meanders through a beautiful old growth forest. The trailhead is just a 5 minute drive from the resort!
