Please let us know you're coming by September 1, 2025. Otherwise we won't have a place for you.
Of course! Everyone is welcome to attend the ceremony, regardless of religious background. We’d love for you to celebrate this special moment with us. If you’re unfamiliar with a Catholic wedding ceremony, feel free to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
Our wedding is an intimate event, and only those who have been invited, including a few children, will be able to attend. Thank you for being so understanding. We’re looking forward to celebrating with you!
Our dress code is Black Tie Optional. That means long dresses, suits, or tuxes. We want our friends and family to dress up and feel good. Even though it's fall, don't be afraid of color. If you're looking for dress options, we recommend checking out sites like Rent the Runway, Nuuly, or even Amazon. And please, no denim. PS - Katherine made a Pinterest board of inspiration. Text her if you want the link.
Our ceremony will start promptly at 2 PM. To ensure that you are comfortable in your seat, please arrive at least fifteen minutes early.
For the ceremony, the church has a private parking lot that guests can access. The free open-air lot is located on the northwest corner of 19th and Welton Streets. The code to the lot is 216. If you have trouble, go to the Parish's website and look at their most recent bulletin. The Oxford Hotel has valet parking available for $17 per car. If you're opting to do valet, bring your car to Wazee and 17th. It will be kept in a private garage for the duration of the reception. For other parking options, we recommend checking out SpotHero.com to find prepaid parking areas.
Since our wedding is in the Catholic Church, there will be a 1.5-hour break between the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour—often called the "Catholic Gap." During this time, we suggest using the opportunity to check in or freshen up at your hotel, explore the LoDo neighborhood (such as the Dairy Block, 16th Street Mall, or Union Station), or enjoy a drink at one of the many nearby bars around The Oxford Hotel. We appreciate your understanding!
We have chosen our menu to include vegetarian and gluten-free options. If none of the provided meals work in your dietary restrictions, please reach out to Katherine or Nicholas.
Since our wedding is in the Mile High City, we want to remind everyone that the elevation can take a toll on you. The air is indeed thinner, and the Colorado sun is no joke. So make sure you're hydrated and putting on sunscreen if you plan on spending any time outdoors.
