Katherine and Nicholas' first date was on April 17, 2018. Since Nic worked at Home Depot and Katherine at Montana Ale Works, a Tuesday was the only day that worked for both. We had Pad Thai at Rice and ended the night watching the sunset from Peet’s Hill. From there, we were inseparable. We watched hours of sitcoms, camped, and explored new restaurants. Katherine still had two years left at Montana State after Nic graduated, working on her two degrees; Nic was there every step of the way, encouraging her to study and take breaks. After a few years of enjoying Bozeman post-grad, we decided it was time to move closer to family. So we packed up and moved to Colorado, close to where Nicholas grew up. Over the years, we’ve traveled near and far, from Livingston to London, and visited nine National Parks. In August 2024, we returned to Montana for Katherine’s birthday. On August 28, we hiked back up Peet’s Hill, the spot where our first date ended. Nic got down on one knee and asked Katherine to marry him, and of course, she cried the entire time. Now, we're excited to celebrate the start of our next chapter with you at our wedding.
