Ania and Sam have been best friends since the Summer of 2010. Initially they were set to be dorm neighbors at UIUC, though after meeting on an incoming freshmen Facebook group (and basically falling in love) they demanded to be roommates. Ania and Sam spent countless nights laughing until they cried and days growing up together. Affectionately named “Little Hands” by Sam’s family, Ania’s sense of humor and endearing cynicism delights all she meets. “After much debate, I am pretty sure that I met Kevin at some random bar on Division Street in Wicker Park. We met. Drinks were drank. Laughs were had. Something about a Russian Piano bar? All I know is that when I hang out with Kevin I tend to not remember the rest. Please someone ask me at the end of the wedding if I’m okay and need an Uber.”
Frankie Raffel
Best Woman
Frankie is Sam’s little sister. For the last 24 years she has supported, challenged, and loved Sam and her wedding day will be no different. Frankie is incredibly intelligent and fearless. Though she’ll miss her three precious dogs (Nikky, Molly, and StanLee) while she’s in Chicago, she’s more than willing to tell you all about them.
Tiffany Casaccio

Sam met Tiffany in grad school 6 years ago. They connected quickly... likely because their lives were eerily similar. Aside from being strong Italian women that were raised by independent, strong Italian women Tiffany and Sam’s OTF love, fashion sense, and commitment to what they deserve solidified a life-long friendship. Though she’s the world’s worst at typing, she makes up for it with her warmth, beauty, and loyalty. You’ll find her with a glass of wine in hand and making sure my lipstick is okay.
Claire Huntington

Claire and Sam met through Angelica at Thresholds (their workplace) when they went out for beers and burgers. Claire’s incredibly intelligent, though unfortunately a Northwestern fan/alumnus. She likes hard cider, board games with friends, and telling it likes it is. She’s one of the most authentic and inspiring people Sam has the pleasure of knowing. You’ll find Claire dancing the night away after her bridesmaid’s duty of making sure Angelica doesn’t show up in a wedding dress is complete. When Claire Met Kevin: “I don’t really remember when the first time was, I think at a birthday party but he was really quiet and I don’t know if we said more than 2 words to each other. My first general impressions of Kevin were “he seems nice. I wonder why he wear so many Disney clothes?”
Michelle Kaminski

Michelle is Kevin’s younger sister and Sam’s future sister-in-law. Michelle and Sam connected quickly over their shared love of John Mulaney, Schitt’s Creek, Hallmark Christmas Movies, and redesigning the Kaminski living/front room. Michelle’s history as “The Girl” has made her into the accomplished, hilarious, and relatable woman she is today. You’ll find Michelle making her family laugh and calm down on the big day. WMMS: In true Kaminski fashion, we met at a bar downtown... Hook & Ladder?! I remember thinking ‘Thank God she doesn’t think we’re all crazy’ and ‘Thank God she can keep up with the Kaminskis.’ This was the first of many nights hanging out, laughing, and having some cocktails. After that, I knew Sam fit right in and she’s been hanging in there with us ever since.
Angelica Marrufo

A&S were close in grad school, but now they share sisterhood. Their relationship is brutally honest and full of empathy. As each other’s most constructive critics and biggest cheerleaders, they’ve shared their hardest challenges and moments of pride. You’ll find Angelica convincing someone a tequila shot is a good idea and trying to sneak in her own wedding dress. WAMK: After months of hearing about this guy who stole my sister’s heart, I caved and allowed... sorry, I mean invited Kevin to my birthday party at Whirlyball two years ago. I knew he could hang when he took my jokes in stride, threw some jabs back, and made jokes non-stop. He also was able to put up a good fight in Whirlyball until his timely demise. He took it just fine and drank his sorrows away in beers. Overall, 10/10.
Amy Tomlinson

Sam met Amy through Kevin, who met her through her future husband John. John and Kevin both found partners that not only understand, but encourage their love of Disney and all things “nerd.” Amy’s a talented and shameless trivia-wizard who makes others feel at ease for who they are. You’ll find her dropping plenty of facts and knowledge about Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and all things media. When Amy Met Sam: “I remember how complementary you were to Kevin right off the bat. Your senses of humor just bounced right off one another. By the time I’d met you I had already been with John for a minute and had spent a decent about of time with Kevin and it was like you were always part of the gang.”
Taylor Wall

Taylor was the first person Sam met when she moved to Chicago. They were from other states, single, inseparable, & ready to deplete every store in the South Loop’s rosé reserves during sleepovers. Bachelor Monday nights quickly turned into tradition. You’ll find Taylor & Angelica requesting dances like the Electric Slide & Macarena. They’re on the “Do Not Play” list. WTMK: “Sam told me about her new job, specifically about one coworker. She admitted that she had a crush on him (I deserve an Oscar for my “shocked” reaction). When I met Kevin he’d been a part of the conversation so long that I couldn’t remember Sam’s life without him. That’s one of my favorite things about him– that the moment he entered Sam’s life he settled in and it felt like he’d been part of the story the whole time.”
Matt Kaminski
Best Man
The Minz aka Big Red is Kevin’s older brother. Matt was Kevin’s first roommate and confidant. Matt has always been there for Kevin and was the first family member to meet Sam at the legendary Burrito House. Matt has helped Kevin through all his major life milestones and was a clear and obvious candidate to help him on the most important and exciting day of his life. When Matt met Sam: He's working on it (he's on trial, give him a break)
Sean Kaminski
Man of Honor
Druncle Sean aka Gray Boy aka Sean was Kevin’s first love. The cousins have been best friends and inseparable partners in crime since they were born. Many people don’t understand the Kevin-Sean language they speak and all of their jokes they’ve made over years of hanging out at family parties and New China Buffets by themselves. Everyone knows that Sean and Kevin have their own special bond.
Jack Kaminski

Pinhead Larry aka Young Jack is Kevin’s younger brother. Jack and Kevin have shared a love of many video games and tv shows, and will constantly drive their mother crazy by speaking solely in Family Guy quotes with Young Dan. Jack's sense of humor and quick wit have always made for a fun time, and Jack and Kevin are easily the funniest people they know.

YOUNG DAN is Kevin’s youngest brother. Along with Young Jack, YD will frequently speak in references to Family Guy and many other shared interests, to the confusion of everyone that's not in the know. YD knows Kevin’s sense of humor extremely well and is always able to make a callback reference to something that will make Kevin laugh.

Cousin Sam is Kevin’s cousin, obviously. The boys have been close for their entire lives, even with Sam living in Wisconsin. The yearly Kaminski family invasion of Steven's Point was always a highlight of the summer for Kevin so that he could spend a weekend up with his cousin. Their friendship has lasted across the miles and the boys have always kept close with each other.

Bri Baby aka Brian has been one of Kevin’s best friends since kindergarten. Brian has always been down to clown with Kevin, no matter what nonsense it might be. Brian is a loyal and supportive friend that has always been there for Kevin. You could not ask for better friends to grow up with and have as part of the biggest day of your life.

Murmilli aka Murhaas has been another best friend of Kevin’s since meeting in kindergarten. When you find someone with your same first and middle name, you either don’t like them or you become best friends forever. Luckily this was the latter. Kevin gets dubs with Kevin on a weekly basis and has always been a constant friend no matter where Kevin's life has taken him. Kevin is a genuine and caring friend and has always been a huge supporter of Kevin. Damn, it's hard to keep track with all these Kevins.

O’Dantula aka O’Dea is a frat brother of Kevin's fellow super nerd. John and Kevin bonded over all things Marvel, DC, and Disney while at college. You know, the typical things frat bros bond over. During college parties, you could easily find the boys deep in conversation about the MCU’s plans and which Batman comic was best. You know, the typical things frat bros do while partying.
