Question

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

When you RSVP there will be a field to note any dietary preferences, allergens, or other concerns.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! Information about our block is located under the "Travel" tab.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

On this very website! There's a tab near the top of the page titled "Registry." We are not registered directly with any store, though this website offers products from across stores that you can purchase directly through the website.

Question

Can I contribute to your Honeymoon in Greece?

Answer

Yes! Absolutely! You can gift "cash funds" through our registry. You can choose the amount you'd like to contribute to one of the many days we're spending on the Mediterranean islands. You can find this under the "Registry" tab.

Question

How are you ensuring safety during the big day?

Answer

We've offered a virtual option for those that don't feel comfortable attending in-person, but would still like to share in the events of our wedding. This option will be limited to the Ceremony and will not be available for the cocktail hour or reception. To attend please click on the "Schedule of Events" tab on May 14, 2021 at 4PM and there will be an embedded Zoom video on our website! Please ensure your comfort with Zoom before then so that you don't miss anything! For those attending the event in-person, please note that the guest list has been limited due to both capacity and safety limits. It is expected that you wear a mask in the church and sit within pods. At the reception your table will include people that you already interact with. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the space. Everyone is encouraged to participate within their comfort level, even if that means wearing a mask throughout the entire day.

Question

What did you do on your original wedding date? (1/2/21)

Answer

Sam and Kevin went to a nearby restaurant, Somerset, and rented a personal greenhouse where they ate and drank to their heart’s content. They coined the term “nope-tials” to commemorate their would-be wedding date. After a behemoth of a salmon side, mulled wine, and mushroom mezzaluna pasta, they retired to their apartment to celebrate with Kevin’s parents and a few members of their wedding party. They drank champagne, ate cake, and toasted to May 14th.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP through this website by April 1, 2021.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45 at the latest to ensure everyone is seated. Sam is going to do her best not to make anyone wait. We’ve all waited long enough for this moment! If attending virtually we recommend a trial run before the date or at least half an hour before the ceremony begins. You can attend through this website in the “Schedule of Events” tab.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation and RSVP will indicate whether you are able to bring a guest. We’ve had to limit “plus ones” due to capacity limits. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to the couple.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love children we’ve elected to limit the attendees to adults-only for their safety. Children are not able to be vaccinated at this time and we are not certain of the long-term effects of coronavirus exposure for children. Children are our future and our wedding is not worth that risk, however fun it may be!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be indicated when you RSVP to the corresponding event. Most events request cocktail attire to celebrate the special day.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. The Hyatt Lodge and Union Church offer parking lots adjacent to the buildings that include handicap parking. For those unable to walk from the parking lot to the Hyatt Lodge you are able to drop off family and friends at the entrance before parking. There will be appropriate signage on the big day.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

For the wedding party there will be a trolley that transports from the hotel to the church. For guests we recommend either Uber or Lyft for the 12 minute drive. The cost should be ~$10 each way.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely, though they are limited due to the pandemic. When you RSVP using the tab above you’ll be able to see all of the events and their details.
