How many guests will be vaccinated at the wedding?

Answer

Approximately 68% of guests over 16 will be vaccinated as of 4/6.

Do I need to get tested for COVID-19?

Answer

We would love if everyone was able to quarantine before our wedding, however, we know that this isn't possible for some. For everyone's safety, we strongly encourage getting tested if you are not able to quarantine.

Are you really still planning on an April 2021 wedding?

Answer

We know these are uncertain times and are closely monitoring group gathering recommendations. We take this pandemic seriously and have downsized to protect our loved ones. We have picked a "COVID-safe" venue, being all outdoors and are following other social distancing guidance. We understand not all will be able to be vaccinated and might not feel safe and we totally understand! Please feel free to join us virtually. Information will be posted on this website in April to "RSVP" in joining us from afar.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Our venue, hotel blocks and most downtown activities are all within walking distance or are within a 10 minute drive. The Airport is less than 20 minutes from downtown. Uber, Lyft and Taxi’s are all available in this area. However, if you’d like to golf, visit Tybee Island or Hilton Head Island, it may be more convenient to have a car to explore on your own.

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of (free, overnight) parking at the Mackey House. Please just make sure to collect your car before 11am or so.

If your invitation says “and guest”, we’ve planned for you to bring a date. If not, we’ve only reserved a seat for you!
