Wedding Party

Matt Furtado

Best Man

A tale of unrequited love. Matt saw Brandon wearing a "The Who" shirt during college orientation and said "Hey, nice shirt!" Brandon half-acknowledged him and then didn't talk to Matt again for several months. Despite Brandon's opening blunder, Matt tolerated him and introduced him to the James Bond franchise. Every Halloween, they marathon a day's worth of horror movies dressed up in couples costumes only they find amusing.

Diana Buchanan

Maid of Honor

Diana and Jordan met at the library before they can really even remember. As kids, they always had a shared love of magic and adventure, whether they were making up stories with their Barbies, pretending to be Disney princesses, or getting swept off to other countries via Mary Kate and Ashley movies. They’ve stayed close for 30+ years and whenever they chat now, they’re usually bonding over whichever fantasy books they’re reading at the moment.

Taylor Cudequest

Groomsman

No one is quite sure how they met; however, Taylor is Brandon's younger brother and exceptional at most things - track & field events, video games, and getting lost at Disney World. Growing up, Taylor and Brandon were an unstoppable force in Banjo Kazooie, Luigi's Mansion, and Guitar Hero. If you must challenge Taylor for your life, choose his Kryptonite, Pictionary.

Megan Massie Ware

Bridesmaid

Megan and Jordan have been friends since elementary school. From dressing up as the Beatles for their social studies fair project in middle school to hopping on an overnight bus to Montreal in their 20s, they’re always having some sort of wacky adventure. Jordan owes most of her knowledge of popular music of the 2000s to all the mix CDs Megan burned for her, and if asked, the two of them can probably still perform pretty much anything from their middle and high school choir shows.

Chris James

Groomsman

Chris and Brandon lived across the hall from each other freshmen year. Chris showed him Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 then listened to Brandon's hour-long rant on how bad the movie was. It's now Brandon's favorite HP movie and they are still friends. Miracles happen. These days, they bond over obscure Meryl Streep MovieGrid pulls. Seriously, who remembers The Ant Bully?!

Nicole Larkin Adashek

Bridesmaid

Nicole and Jordan met in elementary school. Growing up, they played flute in band, were on the softball team, and enjoyed baking together (they once attempted to make homemade Twinkies). They both love to travel and were lucky enough to visit Greece together their senior year of high school. Since then, they’ve enjoyed visiting each other in the various cities they’ve lived in over the years.

Andrew Odeh

Groomsman

Early bonding experiences for Andrew and Brandon include walking an hour and a half to see The American (not worth it) and almost dying in a taxi cab to go see 2001: A Space Odyssey (worth it). They stay in touch through sporadic but often multi-hour phone calls recapping bad movies they've seen. Fun Fact: Andrew is the only person taller than Brandon.

Sarah Pettus

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Jordan met when Sarah moved to West Virginia in 5th grade, and they became close friends in middle school. They attended numerous concerts together throughout their teenage years and obsessed over all the same movies (but mostly Pirates of the Caribbean). They still enjoy catching up about movies, books, and TV, especially anything British/Regency Era/Jane Austen related.

Michael Finley

Groomsman

Michael and Brandon were fellow Recording Arts majors at LMU and roommates after graduation. Their apartment was filled with synthesizers, guitars, and random audio cables. They enjoyed late night jam sessions, trips to MacLeod Brewery, and blasting Vince Guaraldi's A Charlie Brown Christmas to cool down during the hot Van Nuys summers.

Jessica Lusk

Bridesmaid

Jessie and Jordan met freshman year of high school when they were both in the low brass section of the marching band (Jessie on trombone and Jordan on baritone). They spent every Friday night together in the bleachers at football games back then and have remained close ever since. Jessie infamously hosted the first West Virginia friend group holiday party in 2004, which has turned into one of their most anticipated annual traditions for the past 20 years.

Gray Morgan

Groomswoman

Gray and Brandon met in college and worked on numerous student films together. She is an incredible production sound mixer despite Brandon's poor cable management skills. In 2013, Brandon tested Gray's patience by constantly playing Daft Punk's Random Access Memory. She looked past his flaws and invited Brandon over for hours of Super Smash Bros, Munchkin, and Betrayal at House on the Hill.

Sarah Shebs

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Jordan were randomly assigned roommates as freshmen at UCF. When they met at orientation, they each thought the other was weird, but they ultimately became inseparable throughout college. From midnight beach trips to rocket launches to a Twilight-inspired spring break trip to Forks, Washington, they got into all sorts of shenanigans and have stayed friends since. Sarah will forever be the Serena van der Woodsen to Jordan’s Blair Waldorf.

Claire Andreae

Groomswoman

Claire, a fellow LMU film student, is Brandon's opera companion and Kona Brewing's unofficial spokesperson. Claire and Brandon share the sacred bond of having helped each move heavy furniture. They often catch up over the phone, at Friendsgiving, or when Claire globe trots to compete in triathlons. Claire always brings class and style to the dance floor. Ask Brandon's parents - she is the favorite Cudequest child.

Alyssa Korpanty

Bridesmaid

Alyssa and Jordan met freshman year of college, where they became friends after realizing they loved all of the same music groups. They quickly became concert buddies, theme park buddies, food buddies, and travel buddies, all of which they remain to this day. Alyssa always makes the time to visit California to see Jordan (and to go to Disneyland), and Jordan loves rooting Alyssa on when she runs various marathons around the world.

Cody Pestana

Groomsperson

Cody and Brandon met on the Paramount Pictures backlot while at LMU, passionately arguing over movies. They still recap films during their regular Sunday virtual game sessions. Not much has changed, there's just more facial hair now. Cody's laugh is instantly recognizable and infectious, as is their ability to spelt incrrecly (Cody wrote that last part).

Stephen Walker

Bridesman

Stephen and Jordan met on their college news crew, where they first bonded over their shared love of the show 30 Rock. Through the years, they have had many adventures, been roommates in two different cities, and dubbed themselves the overlords of their annual LA Friendsgiving. You can often find them wandering the Melrose farmers' market, attending comedy shows, and hosting dinner parties at their apartment.

Sam Lane

Groomsman

Sam and Brandon have essentially been friends since birth. They can reenact the entirety of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man for you. Yes, including the music video for Nickelback's "Hero" (*shudders*). Whether discussing The Doors discography, their favorite Treehouse of Horror episodes, or the best films set in Chicago, time doesn't seem to pass each time they catch up.

Arielle Kessler

Bridesmaid

Arielle and Jordan met at a Golden Globes viewing party shortly after Jordan moved to Los Angeles. Upon realizing that they liked all the same movies, TV shows, British actors, and more, they instantly became friends and later on became writing partners. When they’re not writing and producing together, they're usually nerding out about Sarah J. Maas books, Phantom of the Opera, and Taylor Swift.
