Siblings since 1992, both Adam and Anna have always made sure to have a friendship first, only occasionally having arguments that were mainly about messing up the lyrics to a Shania Twain song. Adam has always supported Anna and has been her biggest cheerleader in anything she chose to do - including sneaking into a VIP section of a nightclub in IBIZA. Anna is proud to have her older brother stand by her side and Dave is so happy to be gaining one.

Brian Reimel

Best Man

Brian and Dave met in College at the University of Illinois where they became instant friends. Throughout the years they've enjoyed skiing, playing sports, going to see live music, and even living together when Brian moved to Boulder. Brian was there when Anna and Dave met and the three of them have become close friends in the years past.

Stacey Ruiz

"What are you buying for lunch?" "I'm not buying anything, and I brought a lunch from home" "Oh um, I'm not buying anything either... do you want to sit together?". Stacey and Anna's "meet-cute" blossomed into a 15-year friendship that began that very first day standing in the lunch line their Freshman year at Holy Family High School. Since then, both attended CU Boulder, moved into the same building, declared the same major, all while driving Stacey's Mini-Cooper through questionable mountain terrain for endless hiking adventures. Although they haven't lived in the same place since graduating, they continue to have monthly calls, virtual happy hours and even attempted a virtual workout routine during the Pandemic until Anna mistakingly "lost her manual" and had to stop working out...

Winston Shull

Winston has been a brother to Dave since they first met in 3rd grade. Growing up they did everything together - exploring outside, sleepovers, white water rafting, biking to the store and all the fun times in between - these two were inseparable. They "loved" getting into trouble and remember fun times like having to do landscaping at their elementary school for a punishment, throwing playing cards at Dave's parents new garage door insulation, and staying up past bed time to play more video games. They remained good friends even after Winston moved in high school, and have many fond memories of trips going to Dave's cabin in northern Michigan and Winston's lake house in Canada. They still keep in touch and have visited each other in the various places they've lived.

Madeline Puterbaugh

Madeline and Anna are both Boulder natives who surprisingly did not become besties until their sophomore year of college at CU. Who else takes professional graduation pictures together?! They met on the first day of their Elementary Education teaching program in 2012. During their last semester at CU, they decided to study abroad together in Havana, Cuba. They took their Rum tasting and Spanish skills to a new level (all for education purposes, of course). Both now live in Denver, where they each bought houses only a few blocks apart! They plan to choose the same suburb one day and live happily ever after (Dave and Aaron are also invited, of course).

Jon Madura

Jon (J-$) and Dave met in college at the University of Illinois and were instantly good friends. They had many fun nights in Champaign and had an amazing trip the summer of their Junior year when Jon visited Dave to end his study abroad term in Scotland and they travelled for 2 weeks all over Europe. They have seen each other many times in the years past and remain close. Dave had the honor to be in Jon's wedding and is beyond excited to have J-$ in his!

Nikki Singh

CU Student Government, Ladies Night at Absinthe House, and Shower Shoes... wait, what? Nikki and Anna both met while they were elected for CU Student Government and have been inseparable since. States and different countries did not keep these two apart. Anna's second address has been in NYC, where Nikki has been living for almost seven years, and Nikki visited Madrid to travel around Spain when Anna was teaching there. Both Anna and Dave could not imagine celebrating their wedding without Nikki!

Sean Al-Saadi

Sean and Dave met freshman year at the University of Illinois on their dorm floor (OG12). They stayed very close throughout college, consistently hanging out while studying Engineering and then living together their senior year. Since then they have remained close and frequently talk about life on the phone and play games together.

Catherine Lee

Catherine is Anna's cousin and the closest person Anna has had to a little sister. Anna was 10 years old when Catherine was born and was the first baby that Anna ever held. There has been a tradition of lasting sisterly friendship in the family - starting with Anna's mom, Carolina, and Catherine's grandmother (who Anna is named after) being sisters and best friends their entire lives. This has continued throughout the generations, Anna was a Jr. bridesmaid in Catherine's mom's (Diana's) wedding and now it is Catherine's turn! These two were destined to be close and Anna is so lucky to have such a bright, beautiful, and funny cousin!

Mills Mcilroy

Dave first met Mills in Tech Theater in high school and they instantly connected. Both enjoyed extreme sports and could consistently be found trying new things and pushing the limits. After college they both moved to Colorado, reconnected, and have spent many fun trips skiing, hiking, and exploring all that Colorado has to offer.

Kat Drake

Kat is Dave's older sister, he loves skiing and adventuring outdoors with her and has always looked up to her. And now she is Anna's newest sister-to-be! Anna could not have been more excited to have a sister! Kat and Anna share a love for running 5k's on Thanksgiving morning and have quickly become "that family" who encourages this in any place they are celebrating! So far, they have run a Turkey Trot in Louisville and Ann Arbor. Kat currently lives in Breckenridge/Boulder and has been instrumental in recommendations for the Henderson-Drake wedding weekend!

Sean Buesing

Sean and Dave became close after meeting in college when they both moved to Colorado and began their ski/snowboard adventures together. They instantly knew that they both loved the sport and have visited many resorts throughout Colorado and the U.S. always looking for big lines to shred. They also enjoy playing disc golf and seeing live music together.

Michelle Henderson

Michelle is Anna's sister-in-law and forever bestie. She is married to Anna's brother Adam and is a new mommy! Adam and Michelle's daughter (Anna's niece) will be the cute flower baby at the wedding. She is, of course, the new princess of the Henderson family. Anna would not have passed this title to anyone, cuter! Michelle is the kindest, sweetest and funniest person Anna knows. Dave caught the girdle at Michelle and Adam's wedding and Anna caught Michelle's flower bouquet... it was meant to be!

Lily was sent from the teaching gods into Anna's life in the spring of 2018. Lily and Anna instantly became friends as they bonded over their love for craft beer, concerts, and speed walking! They both attended CU Boulder for undergrad; however, they barely missed each other as they were enrolled in different cohorts in the School of Education. Lily and Anna both live in Denver and continue their weekly speed walks around Sloans Lake!
