Grand Canyon National Park, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend
If you're wanting to see the Grand Canyon while in Arizona, here's our recommendations for a trip: 1) Grand Canyon National Park - About 4 hours outside of Phoenix. South Kaibab Trail is our favorite hike into the canyon but be well-prepared if your goal is to reach the canyon floor and back in the same day. 2) Antelope Canyon - Just over 2 hours northeast of the Grand Canyon National Park. About as photogenic as it gets. Make reservations in advance with tour groups. Try to schedule when there is good weather and sunlight. They will cancel your reservation if there is even a chance of flash flooding since it is a slot canyon. 3) Horseshoe Bend - Just 15 minutes away from Antelope Canyon. One of the most photographed spots in Arizona. We recommend visiting at dusk for the best photos.
Sedona
Just 2.5 hours outside of Phoenix and with its panoramic views of red-rock, Sedona is a great place for a day trip if you love sightseeing, hiking, off-roading, and mountain biking.
Piestewa Peak
One of our favorite local hikes. Not easy but fun! Bring plenty of water and parking may be limited.
Camelback Mountain
The most popular and well-known hike within Phoenix. Bring plenty of water. A short but challenging hike. Parking may be limited.
Topgolf
An entertaining activity since it's a fun mixture of Golf+Bowling+Drinking+Happy Gilmore.

Yes, Phoenix does have local crafted beer! Its most well-known craft brewery and distributor in Phoenix is Four Peaks.
