We're Getting Married

It was love at first....swipe? We "met" through an online app called Bumble and found our phone conversations finally leading to a meet-up. After intense negotiation, we settled on an evening hike on South Mountain in Chandler, Arizona. One mile in, we both sat down on a rock to watch the sunset and what was supposed to be a quick hike ended up being a conversation lasting hours and happily continues to this day.

Tanner had us travel "randomly" to Seattle for a weekend and pretended it was "just another 5 AM hike with his two sisters and a backpack full of photography gear" to a gorgeous place called Franklin Falls. And in that early sunrise, before the herds of kids and tired parents arrived, he leaned in and whispered for a long time words I couldn't hear because of the waterfall. There were a lot of "what are you saying!" but finally understood when he got on one knee with a diamond ring that "bling" before me. I said hugged him tightly and yelled, "Yes!"
