We will be following all CDC-recommended guidelines regarding COVID policy recommendations. Because our wedding and reception are taking place outdoors, we hope that we won't have too many restrictions in place. - At this point, masks are optional but encouraged for anyone who would feel more comfortable. We will have a selection of masks available upon request. - We HIGHLY recommend that all guests receive the COVID vaccine and booster as recommended by the CDC.
The venue is a nature conservancy, and as such, there is absolutely NO SMOKING allowed on the premises. The venue has stated that people are allowed to smoke in their cars, and to leave any smoking trash (cigarette butts, etc) in their cars. Please help us protect this nature conservancy by respecting these rules.
Please RSVP as soon as possible. If we haven't heard from you one month before our wedding, we will attempt to reach out, and if we still haven't heard from you, we will regretfully assume you are unable to attend.
We have a registry page on this website. We are registered here on Zola, Target, and Amazon. :)
The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. Since the venue sits back a ways on the property, we recommend arriving around 3:30, so that you can find the parking lot and make your way to the ceremony seating.
Since our wedding is taking place at a barn, we are recommending folks attend in Garden Party Attire, or whatever they will feel comfortable in. Octobers here in the Ohio Valley are usually beautiful, but keep an eye on weather reports and dress accordingly!
We have so many amazing family and friends! Because of this, our guest list is quite large. Please refer to your invitation to see details regarding your guest count. If you feel that a loved one has been unintentionally left out, please let us know. Thank you for understanding.
There is a section on the RSVP to indicate if you would like a meat or vegetarian option. If you need to request further accommodations, please get in touch with us and we will make sure you are taken care of!
There is a gravel parking lot at the venue, and there is overflow parking in a grassy area nearby. There should be enough room for parking, but we recommend carpooling as much as possible to reduce the number of cars in the lot.
As we do not have any official hotel or lodging specifications, we will not be providing transportation. We recommend using Lyft, or finding a guest who lives in the area to carpool with!
Because most of our guests live in the area, we won't be blocking off any particular hotel rooms. We listed the nearest hotels to the venue on the Travel page of this website. We also recommend checking out Airbnb and similar websites for lodging arrangements.
