Hollywood Casino at Greektown
In the heart of the city Greektown casino has a people mover stop and is walkable to most things, situated in between Ford Field and Comerica Park, nestled in Greektown, where there are amazing sweets, bars, nightlife and food. While you’re there check out the Pegasus restaurant, it’s our go to when we are in town.
MGM Grand Detroit
In Detroit but just away from the action. Take your car or a ride share, it’s not walkable.
MotorCity Casino Hotel
In the city but just on the backside, not walkable but accessible by car or rideshare.
Windsor
The bridge to Canada is right next to the hotel, visiting Canada is passport required and the bridge or tunnel are both a 15 minute drive with traffic. Windsor Canada is directly across from Detroit on the Detroit River.
Detroit Institute of Arts
A must see if you enjoy museums, the DIA is the only Smithsonian grade museum in the City of Detroit. Located in the heart of downtown, People Mover drop off location.
Little Caesars Arena - Dave Chappelle Live on 9/9
We saw the show in Memphis and he did not disappoint, if you have the time its a nice way to end the evening.
Motown Museum
Where Motown began, visit the original Hitsville building/ museum. Not walkable, please take you vehicle or a ride share.
Mexican Town
Gotta drive on over to Southwest Detroit and visit Mexican town. Beautiful murals, shopping and amazing food.
