Absolutely, dinner will be catered by Al Malek (Heather’s favorite) one of the best Lebanese restaurants in the city!

Should we rent a car or use a ride share service such as Lyft or Uber?
Answer
If you plan on staying downtown and are staying in a downtown hotel, you can walk the city and use ride share services. If you plan on exploring more of the area outside of downtown we suggest renting a car.

How far is the airport from the hotel?

The airport is 21 minutes from the preferred hotel

What is the dress code?

Although we plan on having fun, this is not a casual wedding, semi-formal or cocktail party attire please.

Is there a subway, bus or train system?
Answer
Yes, Detroit is equipped with a monorail system the Detroit People Mover, there are stops all throughout downtown, the fee is .75 cents per ride. A link to the map is located in the “Things to do” section of the website.

If I go to the baseball game can I wear Chicago White Sox attire?

Is a passport required to enter Canada?
Answer
Yes, post September 11, 2001 all visitors must go through customs and have a passport, however the commute is 10-15 minutes and Canada is beautiful.
