Cancun Airport
Recommend arrive in Cancun by 1/9/26. Direct flights available from Seattle to Cancun via Alaska or Delta. If you don't already have an Alaska Visa card, you can apply through Heather and receive 75K bonus miles and save some money on your flight! Reach out to Heather for more info. IMPORTANT Arriving at Cancun airport (CUN) in either terminal 2 or terminal 3. After exiting the plane, head for immigration. If there is a line of people backed up in the hallway leading down the escalators to immigration, GO AROUND THEM. There are additional stairs and/or an elevator to get you downstairs to the immigration lines. People often form lines at the first immigration line even though there are several more with much shorter lines. There are no workers helping direct people where to go. We have heard the E gates are a quicker way through immigration but we have not used these and have heard they sometimes are not working. After immigration head to baggage claim if you checked bags and head through customs. after walking through customs you will enter the time share sales area (ignore all the sales people). Exit the airport and look for the transfer company you booked transportation with. View link below for a quick video on navigating the airport upon arrival.
