Visit Downtown Playa del Carmen
Explore the town with many shops, bars and restaurants. Forget something for the trip? There are many stores in town that will definitely have what you need. Some of our favorites: -Primo: make a dinner reservation. Best food we’ve had in playa. Highly recommend the bone marrow -La Cueva del Chango: head here for some amazing Chilaquiles -La Vagabunda: great breakfast/brunch -Bloody Mary: live music -Zenzi beach bar: live music and ceviche on the beach -Aldea Corazon: nature esthetic with cenote in the restaurant -La Perla Pixan: great food located across from La Cueva del Chango
Cenote tours
View open air or cave cenotes. Book through one of tour companies or hire a taxi driver for the day
Visit the Mexican Mayan Ruins
Book a tour or hire a driver to take you to the Myan ruins. Visit Chichen Itza, Tulum or Coba
Day trip to Cozumel
Book a day trip over to Cozumel. The ferry leaves from downtown Playa Del Carmen. Once in Cozumel you can hire a driver to take you around the island. Do a full tour or visit one of the many beaches on the island Playa Planacar- probably our favorite beach with shallow water and crystal clear Welcome to Miami- mojito factory. Small beach with hammocks. Sit back and sip a mojito, some of the best we’ve ever had
