How can I save on my flight?

Here are some tips for finding the best flight deals and other ways to save on flights. Book at the right time The earlier, the better. If you can book by the end of the first week of September, you could save an average of 19% on Christmas flights compared to peak prices. Use Google Flights Google Flights' tracker shows you the average rates for your tickets and when to book flights to save money. Set a price alert Price alerts can contact you when the fare you’re looking to buy drops in price. Again, Google Flights has a feature that will automatically notify you when flights are cheaper. To set this up, first, conduct your search. Then, in the toolbar on the results page, you’ll see a toggle to turn on price tracking.

There are five airports in the NYC area. You may want to search all NYC airports for the best rate. Options include... New York Stewart International Airport (SWF) Drive to Bear Mountain Inn is approximately thirty minutes depending on traffic. Westchester Airport (HPN) Drive to Bear Mountain Inn is approximately forty five minutes depending on traffic. Newark Airport (EWR) Drive to Bear Mountain Inn is just over one hour depending on traffic. LaGuardia Airport (LGA) Drive to Bear Mountain Inn is just over one hour depending on traffic. John F Kennedy Airport (JFK) Drive to Bear Mountain Inn is just over one hour and twenty minutes depending on traffic.

Lodging Options

Guests have three choices for lodging at Bear Mountain. Bear Mountain Inn, The Stone Cottages at Bear Mountain Inn & The Overlook Lodge. There are also some options outside of Bear Mountain State Park including Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Point-Fort Montgomery. While we have a block of rooms for the night of the wedding, guests who come into town early may need to use alternate lodging options for the night of December 20th. Please read on for more information below:

Our room block includes 6 king rooms and 5 double queen rooms at Bear Mountain Inn. Please mention the Cochran/Hul wedding to book in our block at a discounted rate of $250+tax per room per night. Reservations can be made by calling (845) 786-2731 ext. 1000.

Stone Cottages at Bear Mountain Inn

Our room block includes 24 queen rooms in the Stone Cottages at Bear Mountain Inn. Please mention the Cochran/Hul wedding to book in our block at a discounted rate of $170+tax per room per night. Reservations can be made by calling (845) 786-2731 ext. 1000.

The Overlook Lodge

The Overlook Lodge is located near The Stone Cottages at Bear Mountain and is a few minutes' drive from the wedding venue. While The Overlook Lodge is not included in our block of rooms, there are rooms available there.

This hotel is less than a ten-minute drive from the wedding venue and less than a twenty-minute drive from the welcome dinner venue.
