Circling each other in overlapping friend groups since 2011, we finally officially met at a Halloween party in 2015. When Heather moved back to Boston in 2017, it was only a matter of time before we crossed paths again đ Over the nine years weâve shared together, youâd likely find us hunting through antique malls for the next greatest treasure or trinket, checking out the coolest bands, wishing we were traveling instead of working, catching flicks at the Coolidge (âŠâI saw Eraserhead here,â to quote the great Julianne Moore), camping around the East Coast, andâabove allâadventuring, adventuring, adventuring. And guess what? That part isnât stopping anytime soon. In lieu of the sappy love story, weâve prepared a few factsâsome that may make you think, âThatâs totally them,â and others that might earn a surprised, âOH!â We hope this is as fun to read as it was to write. Turns out, looking back on your relationship and realizing, âWowâŠweâre weird,â is actually pretty delightful. Alright folksâstudy up. There will be a test after this. OUR FAVORITE FOODS - PicklesâŠwell, anything pickled, actually - An ice-cold beer! - Cheese - Basically all the best charcuterie accoutrement - The number of âdinner-and-a-movieâ nights where the main course was an aggressively large charcuterie board isâŠmore than any of us can count on our collective fingers. OUR FAVORITE MOVIES Typically over-the-top films with massive physical sets and intricate costume designâthink Total Recall, Labyrinth, The Fifth Element, and yes, The Lord of the Rings EXTENDED EDITIONS. Add in anything by Hayao Miyazaki andâmost importantlyâPee-weeâs Big Adventure. OUR FAVORITE PLACES - Antique malls (the bigger and barn-ier, the better) - Art markets - Anywhere you get off the plane - The top of a mountain after a long hike - See also: our couch
