Question

When should I rsvp by?

Answer

In order to send accurate numbers to our vendors, guests are asked to RSVP before/by September 1, 2023.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony and reception, we are recommending semi formal attire. For the gents, suits (ties are optional) or dress pants with a dinner jacket/blazer are also fine. For the ladies, cocktail dresses. For the Friday catch-up and Sunday Recovery BBQ, feel free to be as casual as you like!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at St Mary's Church no later than 2:40pm (at least 20 minutes before we walk down the aisle) to find your seat and get comfortable. Doors will close at 2:55pm.

Question

Can I bring a date to your wedding?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off. We recognise that some of you may be traveling with your kids, so while they won't be attending the wedding, please know they are welcome to the Friday and Sunday events.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to the Reception after the Ceremony?

Answer

No. The Ceremony will conclude at 4:30pm and Reception Cocktail drinks will commence at 6pm sharp. The Church is centrally located in the CBD, and the Reception is approximately 15 minutes drive away. There are various taxis and ride share apps you can use (13cabs, Black & White cabs, Swan Taxis, Uber, Ola, DiDi). For those driving, there is street parking available and you can also park at UWA Car Park 3 and UWA Car Park 9.

Question

Can I buy you a gift?

Answer

With all that we have, we’ve been truly blessed Your presence and prayers are all that we request But if you desire to give nonetheless Monetary gift is one we suggest.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please include your dietary requirements in your RSVP and we will be sure to cater for your specific requests.

Question

What will the weather most likely be?

Answer

November in Perth is a warm spring month, with daily temperatures averaging 25°C (77°F). The evenings can drop to an average 15°C (59°F). Perth enjoys warm, dry days and cool evenings during this time of year.
