John Wayne Airport (SNA)

The closest airport the wedding venue is John Wayne Airport , which is also named Santa Ana Airport. From the airport to the wedding venue, expect a 50-minute drive outside of rush hour and well over an hour during rush hour times and without carpooling, if taking the 405. If taking the 76, the drive will have less traffic. Beware: the 73 is a toll road. This airport is also less than 15 minutes from Hayley's Mom's house, where the Welcome event will take place.

Travelodge by Wyndham San Clemente Beach

Travelodge by Wyndham San Clemente Beach is a cheaper option compared to Hampton Inn and Suites, also with a reasonable walk to the venue. We did not arrange a formal block of rooms with this hotel, but if you call (rather than book online) and mention you are a guest of our wedding, you will receive a 5-10% discount from the cost listed online.

Hilton Irvine

This is a hotel option very close to the John Wayne Airport for those who may be arriving late Friday night, or for those who are attending the Welcome Dinner and know they would rather wait until morning before heading to San Clemente. We have not reserved a block here and there is no discount for choosing to stay here. The Hilton offers a shuttle service to and from the airport.

There are a variety of hotels in San Clemente on or within walking distance to the beaches. We personally did not research any options, but we want to mention it because it might be a worthwhile the trade off for some to be by the beach with a drive to the wedding venue versus being closer to the venue but near a freeway and not the beach.
