Question
How do I get to the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony and reception take place at Diamond Cove, and to get there -- you need to take the assigned boat from our marina according to the schedule (no cars on the island). We will have chartered boats from South Portland at Spring Point Marina both ways. Venue is very short walk from that dock.
Question
Doesn't the boats arrival feel early?
Answer
If you are arriving before the ceremony starts you are allowed to be in the bar at the restaurant and there is AC, bathrooms, and drinks available for purchase.

How do I get back home?
Answer
After the reception ends at 9pm, we will all board the chartered boats back to South Portland and the ferry (free on the way home) back to Portland. Earlier ferries are available if you want to leave the party early!

What if I miss the boat?

If you do happen to miss it, there are are a few water taxi services you may call. Just keep in mind, these services book up early in the summer. See our travel section for more details. Free overnight parking is provided by Spring Point Marina in South Portland.

What should I wear?
Answer
Summer formal cocktail attire – dresses, suits, etc. Our bridesmaids will be wearing navy blue. Most important to be comfortable. We also suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater because it can get cool at night. Keep in mind it is summer in Maine along the water! Our tents will have sides/fans/heaters in case of inclement weather conditions.

What shoes should I wear?

We suggest women wear comfortable, sturdy shoes like block heels, wedges or flats. You will be walking on grass!

We regret that we cannot accommodate children at this venue.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to the intimacy of the venue, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones, unless otherwise specified. We hope you to see you there!
