About a 2 1/2 hour drive from Traverse City, the Grand Rapids airport is a great option for people flying in from out-of-state. It probably has some cheaper options than the TC airport.

About a 4 hour drive from Traverse City, Detroit Metro Airport is a major airport with lots of flight options.
