Maid of Honor
These two met working as PT Aides in San Francisco around 10 years ago (my how time flies!) They instantly connected over their similar passion for dangerous sports as both grew up doing gymnastics, playing soccer, and skiing. Their bond strengthened over the years and through their shared love of Tahoe. Shana became Mara’s Maid of Honor at her wedding in 2018 and now happily has the pleasure of returning that same honor. To this day, they love to just simply get together and chat like no time has passed!
Murphy Smith
Best Man
Murphy is Harry’s younger brother and his best man. Murphy is not funny and lies a lot…so don’t believe any of the stories in his best man speech. Murphy and Harry instantly became brothers because the share the same parents, but they became “Bros” because they share the same parents and Harry works in Finance. But through trips to Avalon, oddly frequent references to Rocky IV, and their love of the Philadelphia Eagles, they became friends. Murphy is excited for Harry and Shana’s big day and can’t wait to celebrate with them
Asha Mehta
Bridesmaid
Shana and Asha met at UC San Diego while living in the dorms freshman year and quickly became close friends, study buddies then inseparable roommates and sorority sisters. From exploring San Diego, going out to exchanges and PB to the even more hysterically wild late nights studying in Geisel - they have remained close even through long years apart. Asha is so grateful to have had Shana's friendship throughout college and through the years to following and now, Asha is so excited to be a part of Shana's special day and to celebrate Shana and Harry's love!
Christopher Smith
Groomsman
Christopher is the youngest older brother Harry’s ever had and will ever have. He has known Harry for approximately 31 years - “approximately” because how well can an infant really know a strange baby who enters HIS house? Although Christopher remained skeptical of Harry for several years, testing this new being (brother), Harry continuously passed all the tests, namely, surviving being pushed down the stairs by a reckless tormentor* (*Christopher). They grew to bond over stupid humor, eclectic music, and eventually moved past the whole “I pushed you down the stairs as a child lol” phase of their life and have been best friends ever since. Christopher loves love and what Harry and Shana share is no exception! He can’t wait to witness and cheer them on as they commit themselves to each other forever!
Brigid Mumford
Bridesmaid
Brigid and Shana met the day they moved in together for Medical School. The magic happened over a shared bottle of wine that first day of living together and they rapidly became best friends - even winning the much-coveted "Best Best Friends" award prior to graduation. From biking to Philly bars, to spending long hours studying in the library, Shana and Brigid were inseparable. Although Shana flew back home to California for her Internal Medicine Residency, they have not let the miles keep them apart and are bridesmaids in each other's weddings this year! (Brigid will be married on April 22nd!)
Sean Smith
Groomsman
Sean is Harry’s older, older brother. Some might say, his oldest brother. In continuance of superlatives, Sean is not only Harry’s oldest brother, but also, his most looked up to (literally and figuratively, as he is the tallest) brother. A position Sean holds most dearly. Sean and Harry have spent all of Harry’s life being brothers. Over the years having each other’s backs during difficult times strengthened the bond between these two. Sean is as honored as any person could be to stand next to him upon an alter of love to declare and fortify what is clearly a beautiful relationship he has with a wonderful woman, Shana. Since the beginning of their relationship, Sean, as the wisest brother, has looked forward to this moment because any other outcome would be senseless.
Cara Shenson
Bridesmaid
Cara and Shana met when they were just seven years old in elementary school. Throughout the years they've bonded on being total goofballs together, making each other laugh endlessly, and having amazing adventures in Tahoe and all over California. Even when there are states between them and months apart, their friendship and love remains. Cara cannot wait to watch the amazing love blossom over the coming years of Shana and Harry!
Ryan McClain

As Shana’s big brother, Ryan and Shana have not always seen eye to eye - although thats still not the case given Ryan towers over her. But over the years they bonded over love for travel and the outdoors, sharing humorous stories about their parents, and…how they always stood out as redheads. Specifically since neither our parents or grandparents have it! After meeting Harry for the first time in Lake Tahoe and skiing together in Zermatt, Ryan could see Harry’s love for adventure really compliments Shana’s. And while Ryan will always make sure Shana stays a true 49ers fan, he's so happy Shana has found someone who makes her happy and gives her great support. Harry and his brothers have welcomed Ryan in as a red-headed adopted brother and he is looking forward to being expanding the family. He can’t wait to celebrate Shana and Harry’s love for each other up in Tahoe!
