Point Pleasant Manor

PLEASE BOOK BY MARCH 15, 2026 We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Point Pleasant Manor, a charming beachside hotel just a few minutes from Bay Head Yacht Club. As Bay Head and Point Pleasant are especially busy in the spring, rooms will book quickly. We kindly ask that guests traveling from out of town reserve their rooms as soon as possible to ensure availability within our block. To receive our group rate, please call the hotel directly at (732) 899-7300 (ask for LINDA) and mention the Sable–Hawkings Wedding. Booking Deadline: Please reserve by no later than March 15, 2026 to take advantage of our special rate. For guests staying at the Point Pleasant Manor, a shuttle will run between the hotel and the Bay Head Yacht Club before and after the wedding events.

Flight

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

If you are flying in, we strongly recommend Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), which is the closest major airport to Bay Head. From Newark, you can either rent a car and drive (about one hour) or take NJ Transit’s North Jersey Coast Line, which terminates in Bay Head following a transfer in Long Branch. If you fly into Philadelphia, LaGuardia, or JFK, please note that you will need to rent a car, and traffic may add up to two hours to your travel time.

Train

Amtrak/NJ Transit

For guests traveling from the Boston, Connecticut, New York, or Washington, D.C. areas who prefer not to drive or fly, there are convenient rail options. You can take Amtrak to New York Penn Station, then connect to NJ Transit’s North Jersey Coast Line, which runs directly down the Jersey Shore and terminates in Bay Head. If you’re traveling from New York City, you may also take NJ Transit directly from Penn Station without using Amtrak. Most trains to Bay Head require a transfer in Long Branch, and the full trip typically takes about two hours. From the Bay Head station, the Point Pleasant Manor is a five-minute walk, and the Bay Head Yacht Club is a quick drive away. Ride shares are available but limited, so please allow extra time for transportation.
