Our favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara! AND it just so happens to be owned by the couple's future brother-in-law, Tyler. The couple recommends a full day of shopping along State Street, followed by dinner & cocktails at Sama Sama.
Great brewery with the BEST smash burger in town (maybe anywhere). This is a must in the couple’s opinion.
Bride's favorite flavor: Banana & Salted Caramel Groom's favorite flavor: Mint Chip
Wine, beer, more wine, more beer. But seriously, the funk zone is the place to be if you’re looking for some fun. It stays funky all day and all night. The couple's spots: Topa Topa (where the welcome event will be!), Pali Wine Co, Shalhoob, the Pearl Social Club.
Located about 40 minutes from Santa Barbara in the Santa Ynez Valley, the couple highly recommends a day trip to Los Olivos for some art, wine, food & all around good culture. Their favorite tasting room is Story of Soil. Added bonus that it's close to all the shops & dining of downtown Los Olivos. If you're looking for more of a vineyard experience, they recommend Demetria Estate Winery. Although a little more off the beaten path, it offers extraordinary vineyard views. For any wine tasting, it’s recommended to book reservations ahead of time on their websites.
The world famous Rincon Beach is a great surf spot where you can hang out and watch some professional surfers "rip". Or head to East Beach near downtown if you're looking for more of a family friendly beach day!
A walk with views you don't have to work too hard for. One of Benji's favorites! Douglas Family Preserve is also located next to Hendry's Dog Beach, another spot that ranks high on Benji's list!
A 2.7 mile loop with a little water, a little mountain, and a whole lot of fun. Head to Bree’Osh or Jeannine’s for coffee & breakfast afterwards!
